Since 1962, with its first year of life, the Berlucchi Italian Metodo Classico Rosé has become a cornerstone of the Berlucchi estate's wine portfolio. The Rosé follows right on the heels of the first bottle of Franciacorta, and reflects the wine-maker's tremendous mastery in the cultivation and harvesting of the Pinot Noir grape.
In order to allow the Pinot Noir to truly shine, all expedition liquers are absent from the Berlucchi Nature Rosè selections, and the vintage undergoes a minimum of 5 years of bottle-aging.
Accents of cranberry and citrus fruits characterize the wine's bouquet. On the palate, we find terrific balance between smoothness and acidity thanks to the wine's long aging on yeasts, and the natural minerality found in vinified Pinot Noir. A lovely tannic note is also present thanks to macerated Pinot Noir grapes.
The Berlucchi Nature Rosè Millesimato is perfect at any point during your meal, beginning from aperitivos with strong charcuterie, all the way through strongly-flavored first courses and meat and cheese-based second entrées.
An extremely elegant blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir dedicated to real connoisseurs.
