The Vermentino grapes cultivated in the sun-drenched vineyards of the Casamaria estate in the Maremma area, which was acquired in 2003 by the Zingarelli family, constitute the main component of this wine. Straw-yellow in color, the aroma offers up floral notes that recall acacia blossom and broom, which then give way to delicate fruity perfumes of apple and pineapple. The palate is dry, smooth and pleasantly fresh. The label as well features a “wind pump” embodying the wind that constantly caresses the vineyard, with the sunshine reflected in the wine’s coloring. It is intended to make the consumer think of the heat of the summer that just keeps on coming.
