Easter Cake with Cheese Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour 500 grams
  • Egg 5
  • Pecorino cheese 200 grams
  • Extra-virgin olive oil 50 grams
  • Fresh yeast 25 grams
  • Salt and Pepper as needed

Preparation

for 8 servings

Prepare the Dough

Melt the yeast in a tiny bit of water at room temperature.

In the meanwhile, grate half of the pecorino cheese and cut the rest in small pieces.

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.

Cook the Cake

Turn oven on at 180C

Coat a baking tray with evo oil and pour in the mixture.

Let rise for at least 1 hr 30 minutes.

Bake in the oven for 40 minutes.

Complete the Dish

In the last 10 minutes, rise the temperature to 180C to brown the outside of the cake.

Let cool down and serve cold.
