Zibibbo grapes are cultivated in small terraces in the absolutely stunning island of Pantelleria, with a method which became World Heritage in 2006.

Ben Ryé in Arabic means "son of the wind", and Donnafugata poetically used it to describes the wind caressing the bunches in the vineyard.

Produced since 1989, when the winery arrived on the island and started cultivating Zibibbo grapes on the typical terraces, Ben Ryé is a Passito di Pantelleria DOC, exceptional as a dessert wine and intense as a meditation wine.
