Passo Delle Mule is the first label of TENUTA SUOR MARCHESA by Duca di Salaparuta, located in the center of Sicily just a few miles from the sea, on a perfect hill which is well exposed to winds, and where summers are very hot and winters are mild and short. In this part of the island Nero d'Avola is cultivated, and has been for centuries.

These grapes have found an ideal habitat in the area of Riesi. It is a vine of ancient origin, among the most appreciated today. Its high capacity to resist drought and its late ripening of the bunches are its fundamental characteristics.

Ruby red color, intense and deep, characterized by an enveloping and fruity scent that evokes morello, cherry and raspberry and recalls spices and vanilla.
