Overlooking the Sant’Antimo Abbey, a testament to Montalcino’s Medieval roots, the La Màgia wine estate has the added benefit of producing not just wonderfully balanced Brunello di Montalcino vintages, but also a glorious panorama right from its vineyards.
The brainchild of the Schwarz family, La Màgia was created in the late 1970s, when the Schwarz family fell in love with the Montalcino area and its inherent wine-making possibilities. Today’s second-generation brings technical savvy (thanks to training and formation in one of Italy’s most prestigious enological centers in Alto-Adige), sustainable energy and a focus on biological wine production to its range of Brunello di Montalcino wines.
