A great classic of Italian cuisine that we can never get enough of: tortelli ripieni e sugo di carne!
Today chef Sara Lai proposes a great classic: tortelli filled with potatoes and meat sauce!
If ever there was a list of quintessential Italian comfort food, this superb, classic pasta recipe would certainly be included in the list.
Warm tomato sauce and rich ground beef envelop a fresh, handmade, silky smooth pasta filled with potatoes.
Needless to say, it takes more than 15 minutes to make this excellent pasta dish, but in no time the chef will teach us the tricks needed to make it.
In the meantime, Filippo Bartolotta, Mamablip's well-known food and wine journalist and wine expert, uncorks a bottle of Podere le Ripi's 'Cielo d'Ulisse' to complement this beautiful first course.
