Come and visit the Maternigo estate: 84 hectares, 33 of which are vineyards, surrounded by woods... a real natural oasis in the high hills between the towns of Tregnago and Mezzane di Sopra!
The tour includes the meeting in Mezzane di Sotto in Piazza Unità d'Italia, and then the short trip to Maternigo. You will get to know the characteristics of the soils, the principles of viticulture as well as enjoy the sounds and scents of nature!You will enjoy a wine tasting in the vineyard of 'Maternigo Valpolicella DOC Superiore', a cru wine of the estate, able to explain the terroir in all its aromatic intensity and intense fruity notes.
After a walk in the vineyard, you will have lunch at the restaurant Villa de Winckels (Via Sorio 30, Tregnago) to taste the typical dishes of the Veronese tradition, accompanied by the tasting of three wines representative of the territory and the estate, including Amarone della Valpolicella Marne 180.
