Slice onion and grate zucchini with box grater. Preheat medium skillet and add 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil, then add onion. Let brown, then add zucchini and a pinch of salt.
Sauté the vegetables, stirring until they are lightly browned. Add wine and let the alcohol evaporate before adding basil. Lower the flame and simmer until the vegetables are soft and the liquid has reduced.

Increase the flame to medium and add salt to taste, and the milk. Reduce until creamy.
Add grated cheese and olive oil.
Dress pre-cooked fresh or dried pasta with zucchini and onion sauce, and serve hot.
