Mix the ricotta with the 250 gr sugar until creamy.
Then add the eggs, one at a time, and the melted butter left to cool and work the mixture until smooth.
Finally, add flour and baking powder and mix until the mixture has the consistency of a firm mousse.

Butter a cake mold and flour it, shake off the excess flour and pour in the mixture.
Level out with the back of a spoon and bake at 180° (in a pre-heated oven) for about 30/35 minutes.
Always do the toothpick test, if it comes out dry it means that the cake is ready, otherwise leave it a few more minutes.
