We have already learned how to make amazing pizza dough at home, but how about the topping?
This sauce, that our chefs have mastered after many, many years of DIY pizza making is naturally vegan, has ana amazing intense tomato flavor, and it’s deliciously seasoned.
What is even better, is that most of the ingredients you need are probably already sittimg in your pantry!

Using your hands, thoroughly smash the tinned tomatoes until you reach a fairly pulpy consistency.
In a sauté pan, add oil and garlic and let sauté lightly.
Be sure not to let the garlic burn - if it cooks too much and/or burns, start over with fresh oil and garlic - overly cooked garlic can impart very strong flavors to the rest of your ingredients.
Add the crushed tomatoes, basil and salt to taste. Allow to cook between 10-15 minutes on medium heat.
Allow to cool before adding to pizza dough.
