Step

Prepare the coffee

Make 2 espresso coffees and set aside. If possible, use single shot espresso coffee and not wastered down, as the ice will already add water to your drink.

Step

2

Of 3

Prepare the Shaker

Put the ice-cubed and the sugar in the shaker. Pour espresso coffees in the shaker, close it and shake energetically for 15 seconds.

With a strainer, pour the drink in a glass. Close the shaker and shake the remaining ice for another 10 seconds to melt the remaining sugar.

Strain and pour one last time.

Tips

- If you have liquid brown sugar, use it: it is quite expensive but worth every penny, especially for a perfect iced coffee.

- The order of the ingredients is very important: first the ice, then the sugar and finally the coffee.

- The glass you choose can make a difference: choose an elongated glass (a Martini or wine glass) and chill it before pouring the drink.

- Use single shot, strong espresso coffee: the ice will already add water to your drink.
