The Colline Teatine IGT Villa Gemma is a blend of three indigenous grape varieties, the most significant of the Abruzzo wine tradition, grown on the Teatine Hills around Chieti: Trebbiano, Pecorino and Cococciola.
After an initial aging in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, it is aged in the bottle for 4-6 months.
A delicately vibrant, fresh white wine is then born, characterized by fruity and mineral notes of aromatic herbs and tropical fruits. Straw yellow in color, it is a perfect match for raw fish appetizers, seafood, and fish in general.
Established in 1981 by Gianni Masciarelli, this fine winery is today one of the leading brands in Abruzzo and counts 18 production lines: Classic Line, Gianni Masciarelli, Villa Gemma, Marina Cvetic, and Castello di Semivicoli.
