Lake Garda is one of the most beautiful regions of Norther Italy and has plenty to offer for everyone
Here on Lake Garda you'll never get bored, because the lake has so much to offer! Think top-notch amusement parks and one of the most beautiful bike paths in Europe, which even runs right next to the shores of the lake. On Lake Garda there are nature reserves with history and culture peeping out from every corner!
King of the peaks of Lake Garda, Mount Baldo, with its 2000 meters of height, separates the eastern coast of the lake from the valley of the Adige River for a length of 30 kilometers.
One of its peculiarities is that during the glaciation, it was not covered by snow, which allowed the survival of numerous species of animals and plants that are unique in Europe.
Mount Baldo, called "Hortus Europae" (Garden of Europe) represents a unique ecosystem for its exceptional biodiversity and the presence of many endemic species. Perfectly uncontaminated nature, brilliant forests and incredible landscapes that seem suspended between earth and sky. All this against the background of deep blue water of Lake Garda!
Lake Garda is an ideal setting and an excellent place to practice water sports such as windsurfing, sailing and canoeing, but also for motorboat rides or for fishing and swimming.
Its hinterland, with its landscape variety, invites to long bike and mountain-bike tours, horse riding, tennis, climbing, paragliding and golf. Nature lovers can take long walks in the surrounding mountains. In winter it is even possible to go skiing on Monte Baldo, in Malcesine.
Thanks to the mild climate that is always present on Lake Garda, excursions and numerous sports activities can be practiced all year round.
