Monte Baldo 

King of the peaks of Lake Garda, Mount Baldo, with its 2000 meters of height, separates the eastern coast of the lake from the valley of the Adige River for a length of 30 kilometers. 

One of its peculiarities is that during the glaciation, it was not covered by snow, which  allowed the survival of numerous species of animals and plants that are unique in Europe.

Mount Baldo, called "Hortus Europae" (Garden of Europe) represents a unique ecosystem for its exceptional biodiversity and the presence of many endemic species.
