Masciarelli Villa Gemma Bianco Colline Teatine IGT - Review

Jul 02, 2021

Today we follow Filippo in the discovery of the Villa Gemma Bianco Colline Teatine IGT, one of Masciarelli wine estate’s most iconic wines.

Today, we follow Filippo Bartolotta, Mamablip’s wine expert, in the discovery of one of Masciarelli wine estate’s most iconic wines: the Villa Gemma Bianco Colline Teatine IGT.

Gianni Masciarelli and Marina Cvetic, husband and wine, both deserve credit for having been able to read and accompany the real viticultural potential of a land of strong contrasts such as Abruzzo.

The Masciarelli winery is located in San Martino sulla Marrucina, in the province of Chieti, at 410 meters of altitude and just 12 miles from the sea, making it the perfect spot for the production of quality wines.

Bianco Colline Teatine IGT Villa Gemma is the result of the union of three autochthonous grapes, the most significant ones of the enological tradition of Abruzzo, cultivated in Colline Teatine near Chieti: Trebbiano, Pecorino and Cococciola.

Curious to know what to pair with this amazing white wine and its floral and fruity notes? Watch the video, Filippo might just have all the answers you need!
