Gastronomic studies refers primarily to everything food-related, and serves to remind us about the importance of quality in what mankind selects to feed themselves. It brings to mind frequently the logic of Slow Food founder Carlo Petrini.
The journey is short: from gourmands to gluttons, we jump to neo-food lovers or eco-gastronomes, until we reach the realm of Foodies, a genuine community that some experts have divided into 4 separate categories: authentic, critical, gourmet, and foodsters.
