Capitel San Rocco is a Ripasso wine of balanced finesse. Produced with selected grapes in the white Marne vineyard of the Maternigo Estate, the wine is made according to the ancient technique of Ripasso, that is a re-fermentation of a part of Valpolicella wine, produced in October. It then matures in Slavonian oak barrels for about 12/18 months and in bottle for about 6 months.
An elegant, complex wine, typical of Tedeschi's style, round but dry, with a fresh acidity, a great protagonist of the territory that expresses its value.
Suitable for aging and gastronomy. It goes well with red meat dishes, game and mature cheeses.
Tedeschi winery is in the heart of Valpolicella and produces fine Amarone with innovative production methods and environmental management. A wine every collector should have in their cellar.
