Maternigo Valpolicella DOC Superiore is a Valpolicella of rare aromatic intensity. In the large vineyard of Maternigo, the mapping of the soils allowed the identification of some plots, which for the characteristics of the soil, the exposures and the responses of the plant have proved to be real crus.
One of these vineyards is Impervio, characterized by the presence of white and yellow marl, particularly suitable for the production of a Valpolicella, giving it great freshness and good acidity. It is structured and round, with great aromatic complexity.
Maternigo Valpolicella DOC Superiore, after alcoholic fermentation and maceration in steel, is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for about 18 months and in bottle for 6 months. Excellent with grilled meat and tasty cheeses of medium and long maturation.
Tedeschi winery is in the heart of Valpolicella and produces fine Amarone with innovative production methods and environmental management. A wine every collector should have in their cellar.
